Getting started with VetVisit AI takes just a few minutes. Visit vetvisitai.com/onboarding to begin the signup process.
Sign Up Options
You have two ways to create your account:
Continue with Google
The fastest option. Click "Continue with Google" to use your existing Google account. No password needed.
Sign up with Email
Enter your name, email address, and create a password. You'll need to verify your email before continuing.
Email Verification
If you sign up with email (not Google), you'll need to verify your email address before continuing. We'll send a 6-digit verification code to the email you provided.
Verification Steps
- Check your inbox for an email from VetVisit AI
- Find the 6-digit verification code in the email
- Enter the code on the verification page
- Click "Verify Email" to continue
Can't find the email?
Complete Your Profile
After verifying your email, you'll complete a quick profile setup to personalize your VetVisit AI experience. This helps us provide relevant templates and features for your specialty.
Profile Information
You'll be asked to provide:
- Organization Name: Your practice or clinic name
- Your Role: Veterinarian, Veterinary Technician, Practice Manager, Front Desk Staff, or other practice role
- Veterinary Specialty: Select from our list of specialties (General Practice, Internal Medicine, Surgery, etc.)
- Practice Size: Solo practice, small group, or larger organization
Choosing Your Specialty
Selecting your veterinary specialty helps VetVisit AI provide the most relevant note templates and AI prompts for your practice. We support 18 specialties including:

Selecting Your Templates
The final step of onboarding lets you preview and select note templates. Based on your specialty, we'll show you recommended templates that work well for your practice type.
Common template types include:
- Vet SOAP Notes: Standard Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan format
- Wellness / Annual Exam: Routine wellness visit documentation
- Recheck: Follow-up visit documentation
- Specialty-Specific: Templates designed for your specialty (e.g., Dental Procedure, Surgical Report, Euthanasia, Client Discharge Instructions)

Once you've completed your profile, you'll see a welcome screen confirming your 7-day free trial has started. From here, you can jump right into the dashboard and start recording your first session.
